We started out the day at our neighborhood breakfast. My dad was at the Kaysville parade two hours to early to see Bridger so I told him to come and join us at the breakfast. They have been doing this for I think 6 years now. It is always a good time. The kids decorated their bikes for a bike parade after that ran down Robyn Way.
After the breakfast we dropped Bridger off and found us a lucky spot under a shade tree to watch the parade. The Kaysville parade is really long and the Farmington Band was one of the last entries. I'm just glad we had the shade tree. They sounded really good. It was fun seeing him and worth the heat and long wait.
Later that night we went to Renan and Amy's for dinner and fireworks. Bill and Becki brought a bunch of fireworks for the kids to do. It was so funny watching the little kids run to the porch when things got loud or crazy. Cute Kennedy kept her ears covered the whole time. Later we all went to the church to watch the big Holladay fireworks. It was the perfect day.
