Bill has been fighting prostate cancer for four years now. Through the years it has spread to his bones. We got the bad news this weekend that the cancer has now spread to his brain. He spent the Memorial Day weekend at the hospital along with all of his family. We definitely broke the two visitors to the room rule, but nobody seemed to care. They started him on some steroids to help reduce the swelling and did two treatments of radiation to his brain before sending him home. He will follow up with eight more treatments. It was a hard weekend full of a lot of stress and tears.
