Last night Porter received his Religious Knot and his Arrow of Light awards. Rhett asked my dad to do the Arrow of Light Ceremony. He has been in scouting for over 30 years so it was appropriate to have him do it. My dad did a really nice job. Porter and two other boys got their awards, one of which was his best friend Bentley. I am so proud of Porter. He has worked really hard. He moves up to the eleven year old scouts now. He loves being in scouts and has loved having Rhett in there as Cub Master.
Rhett was just called to be the Scout Master so this was his last pack meeting too. He will get to work with Bridger again now until August and then Porter will be with him again in February.
Rhett's a little overwhelmed and excited. I think he will be great as Scout Master. He has already been on a lot of camps with Bridger, and all of the boys love him.
Porter is such a great kid. I am so lucky to be his mom.
When we got home Porter thought he would practice some of his knot tying skills on Stella.
