Little Red Riding Hood is a bike ride for cancer. Lindsey, Amy and I all signed up. The ride was held up in Lewiston, about 20 minutes from Logan. It is the biggest women's ride in the country. 3,600 riders signed up, it sold out in just under 2 hours. We were all really lucky to even be a part of it. Many women were not able to sign up.
This was all of our first organized ride so were both excited and nervous.
My whole family brought me up Friday night. But Rhett, Bridger, and Stella went home that night. Bridger had All Star tryouts at 10 on Saturday. (By the way he made it!) So Porter stayed up with me to be my cheering section. We stayed at a hotel in Logan and then Bill and Becki took us to the start in Lewiston the next morning.
They provided lunch at the park during the ride. The best part for me was being a part of something so big. It was very fun. There were so many riders.
It was pretty cute, Porter was waiting for me and ran with me through the finish line.
It was fun having him there.
The theme was Love Peace Ride. So tie dye and hippies were everywhere.
They did such a good job putting it on. I loved it. I definitely want to do more organized rides.
