Stella has been studying animals at school. They had to do an animal report and then they had an animal fair for the parents to display all of their hard work and to answer questions. Stella's report was on a walrus. Mrs. Borden said in all of the fifteen years she has been teaching she has never had a student as excited as Stella was about studying animals. That sounds about right, she is my animal lover.
They had a very cute 2nd grade animal program Thursday night. They sang some really fun songs. Each class took turns reciting a poem, doing a dance, and playing instruments. They also got to tie dye their shits.
The next day was the 6th grade Middle Ages Feast. From what I hear, this is the event the 6th graders look forward to all year. I was able to help. It was easy to see why they love it. All of the kids and teachers dressed up as Nuns, Knights, Noble Woman, Bishops, Monks, Lords, etc. The gym is set up with a head table for the Royal Family. The rest of the tables were set up in order of importance. The mothers served a three course meal all of which they could only eat with their fingers and a knife. They were tearing off parts of whole chickens with there hands and loving every minute of it.
