What a fun birthday for Shane. His new 1969 Camaro was in the South Town car show. He even won a prize. We had to go join him there for awhile. It's such a pretty car. The upholstery is even finished with hound's-tooth print. My sisters name is on the door. Every last detail is done so nice.
We took them to dinner to celebrate his birthday at some Mexican place that they liked, it was really good and fun.
Camie hired a lady to paint that picture of Shane in his car for a birthday surprise. The morning of his birthday she finally dropped it off. Camie swears it still felt a little wet. She obviously put it off or took on way more than she could handle. It was definitely not what Camie was after. Bridger had the best description when he said it looked like something out of South Park. Camie spent a lot of money of it too but said the only place she would consider hanging this would be in the man cave out back. So dang funny though, we all got a good laugh, and well that's priceless.
