My sister hosted Thanksgiving this year in her new beautiful kitchen. The table setting was so fancy, she used these gold vases of Carolee's at each place setting and put a rose in each one. She also used Carolee's crystal goblets. It gave the table that much more meaning.
She put Rhett in charge of the pies, he made an apple, a banana cream, gluten free coconut cream, pumpkin and a regular coconut cream. They were delicious as usual. I was in charge of the rolls. Camie and Shane did everything else. She did put Porter in charge of putting together the charcuterie board, I also found out that Garrison loves cooking so he was a huge help to her. Every part of the meal was perfect. Our families both get along so well, even the new dog cousins played well together. It was a perfect evening.
