Why would you plant a tree that only lives 15 to 20 years? This big beautiful Curly Willow has been struggling for a few years now. The branches break off with heavy snow or wind, and it is constantly loosing leaves. It has been in our yard for 23 years the first owners planted it for some quick shade I'm sure. It shades our whole backyard. It was heard breaking watching them take it down. There is a lot of sky and a lot of sun in our yard now. Not sure how I feel about that. I will give it a few seasons to decide.
