Elephant Rock was the first of many training hikes. Rondi invited us to join a group of about 30 people to hike the Grand Canyon at the end of March. Rhett was a solid yes, he was jealous when he heard she did it last year. I on the other hand have been a little nervous. I don't have the best knees and feet. I am willing to give it a go though. I felt pretty good at the end of this hike. We are planning on doing a big hike every weekend leading up to the Grand Canyon, so hopefully I will feel ready.
