Bryce Canyon with my Loverman

Rhett and I love road trips, our latest one has to be one of my favorites yet. We took Highway 12 which is supposed to be one of the prettiest highways in America (it did not disappoint) to Bryce Canyon. On the way we stopped at Calf Creek Falls. The hike was in the sand most of the way which I didn't like but it was worth it when we got to them.
We got to Bryce Canyon that night just in time to see the sun set on it, they were breathtaking. We checked into Ruby's Inn and then hurry and changed for our cowboy dinner at Ebenezer's Grill. The best part about tonight was how sexy Rhett looked in his new cowboy boots that I got him. The dinner was okay and the Cowboy singing was not great. We had some fun laughing with the people at our family style table though so the night wasn't a complete bust.

The next morning we hurried to the Canyon before even getting ready, the locals said we needed to see the sunset and sunrise. It's true what they say, the canyon looks so different at different times of the day. The sun bounces off the rocks and make it look like they are on fire. It has to be one of the prettiest places on Earth. We kept telling ourselves all day, "I can't believe we have never been here before." We did go back to the hotel, got showered and then spent the whole day hiking all through the Hoodoos (it's what they call the spires). It was such a fun quick little get away. We definitely need to bring the kids back and see it.
