Crabbing

We went crabbing on Monday morning just so we had crab to eat for the week. It was cool and a little rainy but we didn't care. Its a bummer, now that Kelly does not own it they have new rules. We could only have 4 adults in the boat. So Rhett and Bridger were the pullers, Porter was the driver and I was the measurer. Kylee and Stella stayed at the dock and worked a couple of traps off the dock. It was slow going we were out there about 5 hours and only got 19. He said that was the best anyone had done in the last couple of weeks. For us it was a bit of a bummer, our record has been around 32. But from the sounds of it we should be happy. It was actually fun but we were all wet and cold and ready to get back and shower and well eat some crab. The girls didn't have any luck off of the dock. They caught a bunch of females and small males but nothing worth keeping.
