Columbia River Gorge

The first day was exploring the Columbia river Gorge. It was so hot, Portland was having record high temperatures and then on top of that the fires from California were so bad that it was blowing so much smoke it was hard to see across the Gorge. We still had a ton of fun though. We stopped at the park in Boise so Kylee could finish this assignment that had to be done.

We stayed in a hotel that first night so that we would be right at the beginning of the Gorge. This is how we say Diesel when we came back with the pizza. The kids looked like they were worshiping him.

Porter was sandwiched between both beds. Stella a on the other air mattress.

We went and checked out the fish hatchery. It was fun taking Kylee to all of the stuff she had never seen before.

The blackberries were in bloom so we took advantage and picked the wild ones wherever we could see them.
Multnomah Falls are so beautiful. We had to stop and show Kylee those. The charge to get in now, that was the first day and the operation was not organized so we all just snuck in.
