We normally go camping over Labor Day weekend but after just getting home from Oregon the week before none of us were really in the mood to leave again. On Monday we did decided to go on a hike by our house. It was raining pretty good so we were debating as we sat in the truck. Finally we decided to just go. Glad we did, it cleared up almost right after we started hiking.
Found some wildlife on the trail. This rattlesnake was not very happy with Rhett and Bridger. After a few pictures it slithered away. Rhett caught this baby lizard. I was surprised to see one so small this late in the season.
The view was really pretty. It was a little disappointing though, not really anything at the end to see. It was one of those hikes that now we know what's up there, but wont hike there again. Fun day.
