Taste of Winning

If we can't have spring, today was the next best thing. The fam joined me in taking Cooper for a walk. I think they need the sun as bad as me. We were all in shorts and sweatshirts. By the time we got back we were plenty hot. The kids had to get a few runs in before they went back inside.

Later that night we went to Camie and Shane's for dinner.  Cooper and Lucy ran around the whole night playing. They love each other.

 After dinner they showed us a game called 99. There was a $3 buy in. Shane said it is much more fun to play with money. Thanks to Rhett and his $12 we were set. I was the first one out, then Porter and Camie. Rhett, Bridger and Shane kept it going for awhile. At the end it was Shane and Bridger neck and neck. 

 Until Bridger took the whole thing! Nothing like giving our 13 year old a taste of winning! Bridger would have to agree, playing with money does make it more fun. Thanks for the good dinner and fun night.

Playing cards reminded me of when we would sit around all night up camping and play poker with Randy. Those were some good times that I will miss.
