The last few days we have been worried about Porter's chameleon. She has not been eating and was hanging down at the bottom of her cage. Two things which she never does. Rhett did some research that said she might need to lay some eggs. We got a huge box of sand and she dug in it all day. Later that night when we check on her she was still digging but it looked like she was covering it up now. We put her back in her cage and started digging her hole to check. Sure enough, she laid 29 eggs. We were all so surprised. She has been doing great ever since. Oh by the way we flushed the eggs.
